Face Reality Acne Face & Body Scrub is a 2.5% benzoyl peroxide exfoliating scrub cleanser built to physically and chemically clear congested, breakout-prone skin on the face, chest, and back. Natural cellulose beads provide gentle yet effective mechanical exfoliation, buffing away the layer of dead cells that traps oil and debris inside pores, while benzoyl peroxide works beneath the surface to eliminate acne-causing bacteria. The result is fewer blackheads, fewer new breakouts, and skin that is better prepared to absorb every treatment product you layer on afterward.

If your skin is oily, congestion-prone, and prone to blackheads on the face, chest, or back, this scrub was designed for exactly that pattern. It is especially effective for non-inflamed acne, including closed comedones, open comedones, and mild papules.

This scrub is not appropriate for inflamed pustular acne or sensitive, easily irritated skin. It is also not recommended for Fitzpatrick skin types 4 and above, as the combination of physical exfoliation and benzoyl peroxide may increase the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in deeper skin tones.

Apply: Spread a small amount onto dry skin, avoiding the eye area entirely.

Technique: Dampen your fingers with warm water and massage in circular motions for two full minutes, keeping pressure light and even.

Remove: Rinse thoroughly with tepid water or wipe away with a damp cloth.

Follow Up: Apply your toner, acne serum, and moisturizer. In the morning, always finish with a broad-spectrum SPF.

It is also not suitable for inflamed pustular acne. If sensitivity is a concern, Face Reality offers gentler wash options better suited to reactive skin.
