Active Clarity Gel Cleanser

Face Reality Active Clarity Gel Cleanser is a dual-action acne treatment cleanser built around 2% salicylic acid, AHAs, and prebiotics to unclog pores, exfoliate buildup, and reduce excess oil in a single wash. This is not your everyday gentle cleanser. It is a targeted, professional-strength formula designed for oily, acne-prone skin that needs a deeper level of clean, whether used as a weekly boost within a full Face Reality routine, as a foundational cleanser for minimal routines, or as a body acne wash.

In a two-week consumer study of 34 panelists, 100% said their skin felt deeply cleansed, 100% saw a reduction in excess oil, and 91% said their breakouts appeared minimized.

Key Benefits: Clears Congestion Inside the Pore: 2% salicylic acid is oil-soluble, so it penetrates into clogged pores to dissolve the buildup that causes blackheads and breakouts before they surface.

Refines Rough, Uneven Texture: Glycolic acid and malic acid work at the skin's surface to loosen dead cells and smooth texture, giving skin a more even, refined finish after each wash.

Controls Excess Oil Without Stripping: The gel formula removes surface oil and congestion effectively, yet glycerin, panthenol, and hydrolyzed jojoba esters help the skin hold onto the moisture it actually needs.

Supports Long-Term Skin Barrier Health: A prebiotic complex of xylitol, xylitylglucoside, and anhydroxylitol helps maintain the skin's microbiome balance, while centella asiatica extract and allantoin calm irritation so the formula stays tolerable with consistent use.

Works Beyond the Face: Because salicylic acid and AHAs are equally effective on body acne, this cleanser doubles as a treatment wash for breakouts on the chest, back, and shoulders.

If your skin is oily and acne-prone, and you need more than a basic cleanser to keep pores clear, this is your product. It is especially useful if you deal with blackheads, stubborn congestion, or body acne on the chest and back.

If you are already on a full Face Reality acne routine with other treatment products, Active Clarity Gel Cleanser works best as a 1-2x per week deeper cleanse rather than a daily wash, since layering too many actives can over-dry the skin. For those with a simpler routine, it can serve as an everyday treatment cleanser.

This formula is not recommended for dry or sensitive skin types. It is a strong, treatment-level cleanser and is best suited for skin that can tolerate salicylic acid and AHAs without irritation.

Prepare: Dampen skin with water.

Apply: Massage a thin layer of gel over affected areas, including the face, chest, back, or shoulders.

Technique: Avoid the eye area. Rinse thoroughly with water.

Frequency: Start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily as tolerated. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce to once a day or every other day. If you are using other Face Reality treatment products, limit use to 1-2 times per week as a deeper cleanse.
